Season 2026 is set to continue with plans well in advanced in building on both the on field and off field success your club experienced
in 2025. The Rhinos continue to be the most successful Junior Rugby Union Club in Victoria and the current holder of 2 Junior Premierships for 2025 in the U16A and U18's, also undefeated Minor Premiers. Both the U11 and U14A finished as "Runners Up" in their respective grades.
Your club is fully focused on the 2026 season and are in the best possible position to meet the expected increased challenges being placed by the State body's proposed changes. We welcome old and new players in becoming part of our club.
About Us
Who are we?
We are an inclusive Victorian Rugby Union Club based in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne. Established in 2004, our club has worked hard in becoming part of the fabric of the Wyndham Sporting Community. A just reward for this hard work and success saw our club in 2020 move into our new $11M upgraded Integrated Sports Hub Complex. Featuring 3 International playing fields, lighting suitable for night games on Field 1 and 2 and new club and change room facilities along with 2 referee rooms and a First Aid room. Our canteen and clubroom facilities provide an inviting atmosphere on training nights and game days.

2026 Juniors U/8's through to U18's and introducing U16 Youth Girls and Colts grades.
Our club continues to develop, progress and grow our junior base through the ongoing commitment and dedication of our coaches and their team management. The Rhino's are reknown for their committed approach of developing players of any ability and with experienced coaches leading that development. Backed by an established and well run club, our success has been reflected with continual on field performances resulting in many Premiership and Minor Premiers flags won over the years. The jewel in the crown is the opening of the $11M Wyndham Sports Hub which is our dedicated home for many, many years to come.
Pathway and Junior Grades: In 2026 we will be fielding grades in the U/8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 16 Boys, 16 Youth Girls, 18 and Colts age groups. U/8 through to U/10's are played in a non competition format with no points awarded for wins or losses and no finals/Grand final format. U/11 grades and upwards are played as competition rounds with points for and against recorded and a finals and Grand final played at the end of those rounds. Coaching roles for the 2026 season have been appointed across all grades except 9 and 10's. Our on-field success across all grades has been a highlight of the RugbyVic Junior Competition since entering as a Union club in 2004 as we continue to develop our junior base through these grades.
2026 will see our club run Junior Grades from U8's up to 18's and allows our club to fully focus on recruiting and retaining our Junior Grades from 2025. We will be adding a U16 Youth Girls and Colts age grades in 2026.
